New Features: Search Filters, Feature Voting, and Recipe Import
We've shipped three new features to reciPleasing today! Advanced Search Filters The recipes page now has filters for prep time, difficulty, and mess level. Filter down to recipes that are under 30 minutes, easy difficulty, and low mess — or dial it up for a weekend project. Active filters show as dismissible chips so it's easy to see what's applied and remove individual ones. Feature Voting Backlog Head over to the Feature Requests page to see what's planned and upvote the features you want most. The stories are pulled directly from our Jira backlog, so the list stays up to date as new ideas get added. Your votes help prioritize what gets built next. Import Recipe from URL You can now import a recipe directly from any website that uses standard recipe schema. Just paste a URL into the "Import from URL" box on the Add Recipe page — it'll pull the name, description, prep/cook times, servings, ingredients, and steps automatically. Review everything, make any edits, and save. No more manual re-typing from your favorite recipe sites.

Welcome to reciPleasing.com!
Welcome to reciPleasing.com! This is a project that came out of my love for cooking and my career as a developer/software engineer. Over the years, I've curated a collection of recipes — some my own and some others. As a messy home chef, I'm always getting the results of my efforts all over my recipe sheets. Rather than reprinting every so often, I wanted to put something that's accessible online. This has allowed me to do things like instantly scale recipes, create shopping lists, take notes on what worked and what didn't, and most importantly, share my favorite recipes. Please be patient, as this site is a constant work in progress (aren't we all?), so stick around and plan your next dinner here! -Joe
